“Move your joints every day. Bury your mind deep in your heart, and watch the body move by itself.” — Sri Dharma Mittra

I provide a functional assessment to identify limitations in movement due to pain or injury. Then develop an individualized program using yoga foundations with physical therapy techniques in order to maintain and restore maximum movement and functionality in the body.

Individual and small group yoga instruction

Whether you are an individual with health concerns, are recovering from injury or are looking to refine your practice, Miki is able to provide expert guidance and teaching. Through private yoga instruction Miki teaches the use of appropriate modifications and props, correct body alignment and posture to help students achieve their desired outcomes. She provides customized private yoga sessions for all experience levels in the comfort of your own home or venue of your choice. She strives to provide each student with the level of practice they need to be challenged just enough, to feel empowered and to want to keep returning to their mats (or chairs).

Types of instruction include: Gentle or Deep Flow Vinyasa, All Levels Vinyasa, Chair Yoga and Yin. Special occasion or group sessions also available upon request.
